Horace Wilson

  • Birth: February 10th, 1843
  • Death: March 4th, 1927

Horace Wilson was originally from Gorham, Maine, and fought in the US Civil War as part of the 12th Maine regiment. After the war, he traveled to Japan as a teacher, and is credited as first introducing the game of baseball to Japan.
